So you’re thinking about doing a boudoir session — or maybe you’ve already booked and your brain is spiraling with all the questions. Deep breath. I got you. Let’s walk through the most common questions I get about boudoir so you can stop overthinking and start getting excited.
Where does the session happen?
Right in my cozy, private studio in Lake Worth, Florida. It’s designed to feel like a girls hangout spot with killer lighting and confidence-boosting vibes. You walk in nervous… and leave on cloud nine.
What do I wear?
Anything that makes you feel good! Lingerie, bodysuits, oversized shirts, leather jackets, lace robes, NOTHING (yep, implied nude is an option if you’re feelin’ bold) — we’ll chat ahead of time and I’ll help guide you based on your style and comfort level. I also have a client closet with pieces you can borrow, so you don’t have to stress about shopping if that’s not your thing.
Do I have to know how to pose?
Nope! That’s what I’m here for. I will pose you from head to toe — literally down to your fingertips and your facial expressions. You don’t need to “know” how to be sexy. Just trust me, follow my lead, and you’ll be shocked when you see the magic we create.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes! I work with a professional glam team that will pamper you before we shoot. It’s included in your session fee, and we customize your look based on what you love — whether that’s soft and natural or full glam bombshell.
How long is a session?
Plan for about 3–4 hours total. We start with hair and makeup, then dive into your shoot with multiple outfits, breaks, hype-ups, and lots of laughing. It’s honestly so much fun, you’ll forget you were ever nervous.
I’m really shy… what if I feel awkward?
Totally normal. EVERY woman feels that way in the beginning. But you’ll warm up fast — promise. I create a super safe, judgment-free space where you’re free to just be. I’ll be your personal hype girl the whole time, and you’ll feel more and more like a badass with every click of the camera.
What if I have insecurities about my body?
Same, babe. You’re not alone. I’ve photographed every shape, size, age, and story — and let me tell you, your “flaws” aren’t flaws at all. I know how to pose and light you in ways that show you at your best, and you’ll walk away seeing your body in a whole new way — one that’s full of love and power.
Can I bring someone with me?
This is your time to focus on YOU, so I usually recommend coming solo so you’re not distracted or self-conscious. But if you’re super nervous and want to bring a friend to cheer you on, let’s chat about it beforehand.
Do you edit the photos?
Yep — I hand-edit every final image with love. That means I’ll smooth skin, fix flyaways, even out tones, and enhance the overall image — but I never make you look like someone else. You’re still you, just the polished, glowing, ready-for-your-close-up version.
Do I have to get naked?
Nope! Boudoir is not about nudity — it’s about feeling empowered in whatever you wear (or don’t wear). Some clients do implied nude shots, some stay fully clothed in cozy sweaters or body-hugging dresses. It’s 100% your choice.
What if I don’t want to share my photos online?
Your privacy is super important. You choose what — if anything — I share. I’ll never post your images without your clear, written permission. Some women love to show theirs off, and others keep them just for themselves or their partner. Either way, your call.
How much does it cost?
The session fee covers your shoot, hair + makeup, full posing guidance, and a same-day image reveal. Then you choose your photo collection based on what you love. Collections include albums and digital images. I also offer just digital images and so much more. And yes — I offer payment plans that make this totally doable. Do you offer couples boudoir sessions?
Absolutely! Yes! Couples are probably my favorite sessions to do because I love to capture the connection between two people–everything from soft and sensual to spicy! Most of my couples images are just too spicy to post, or sometimes one partner can share their images while the other has a job where they can’t. So if you don’t see a ton of my couples images, this is why!
